Grinding Some Gold With Your Death Knight

As I promised, here is a tip on making a serious amount of gold in a short amount of time on WoW!

Tip 1:

Defias Windmill- This is a great place to farm that can be done at almost any level. This spot was revealed on the official forums right after release and to this day it hasn't changed and is still great.

If you head out to the Gold Coast area in Westfall you will find a windmill on a hill overlooking the beach (there is a murloc camp right below it on the beach). Surrounding this windmill are a ton of Defias mobs that you can kill and get a ton of linen and other good humanoid loot. They are only around level 12 so it easy to do.

What makes this area so great is that their respawn rate is almost immediate. Even at level 60 I can come here and farm linen cloth and they have started respawning before the first of them are even dead.

I'm serious when I say it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to kill them all before new ones respawn.

You can take them on one at a time or AOE if you have the ability and farm non-stop.

You can easily make a lot of money off the linen and low level greens that drop here. In fact, like I said above, this spot is so good that I still grind it at 60 when I need cash fast. You will get numerous stacks of linen and a ton lower level green rank items. This will work at even low levels.

Which Death Knight Spec Is Best For DPS?

The death knight is one of the newest characters introduced in World of Warcraft. They are widely considered one of the easiest characters to play and level. Leveling time is cut in half already because they start at level 55 being the only heroic class that WoW has to offer. The three death knight specs are blood, frost, and unholy. If you are looking to level your character or maximize your damage output then blood would be the right death knight spec for you.

Blood is great for leveling and dungeons because not only do you maximize your dps output but you also have the greatest amount of survivability. Using your rune tap and vampire blood can prove to be your saving grace at the end of a large mob.

While using the blood death knight spec you will receive talents such as "blood worms" which creates 3 worms that fight with dk's attack any enemies in the area. These come in handy fighting mobs because of the steady aoe damage.

Your big hitter in the blood death knight spec is "heart strike". This is the largest melee burst that the DK is capable of. This talent also hits up to two other enemies as well as your initial target. This ability will be used the most frequently by blood DK's.

Last but not least at the bottom of your blood talent tree lies dancing rune weapon. When activated another weapon emerges doing the same attack as the DK just at 50% reduced damage. This talent is essential in maximizing your damage per second.

If you are trying to reach maximum damage per second as a blood DK a recommended rotation would be "icy touch", "plague strike", "heart strike", "heart strike", "death strike". After you've went through that rotation once all you have to do is spam "heart strike" until you diseases where off. Then start the rotation again.

Remember that WoW is gear based so you can't maximize your damage per second unless you have the gear to do so. Don't waste your time worrying about your max damage per second until you hit level 80 and begin to start raiding. In closing i do suggest a blood death knight build for anyone who is leveling a death knight to 80.

Did you know that you can level your death knight from 55-80 in 2 days? Zygor Guides Horde and Alliance in game leveling guides make this possible. Don't waste your time picking up junk quests...Check Out Zygor Guides
